Palettes

Palettes of all shapes and styles are available. Some have lids and are great for painting on location and transporting your paints around.

There are so many different types available, that fulfil so many tasks, that I encourage you to go to a good art shop on your high street or online and to browse.

Also, many artists find tubs, plates, and pots (even Fererro Rocher trays) to be economical and flexible in their use.

My top tip is to remember that acrylic paints, once dry, are harder to clean off – try to wash them while the acrylics are still wet.

Using acrylic paints also gives you the challenge of keeping them in a way so they do not dry out.

I have considered this here.

Any great ideas you want to share about palettes, then please use my contact form.
